Catalogue Note

The two sculpted wooden vase supports are a prime feature of this table. Ruhlmann must have favored this versatile model for a table, as it appears frequently in sketches and displays of Ruhlmann interiors. It was featured as a dressing table with a small mirror on top in the bedroom interior for the Rothschild residence. It also served as a writing table in the salon of Fernande Cabanel.
