of octagonal form, the sides engraved with lobated cartouches enclosing personifications of the Five Senses, hearing, sight, taste, smell and touch, and one cartouche enclosing the initials II/RP and the date 1682, the cast foot decorated with cherubs and fruit clusters, rising to a moulded band with a rope beneath, the pierced cast handles centred by cherubs surrounded by scrolls above engraved fruit clusters, marked at the reverse of the base
