A rare gold chronograph wristwatch with register and tachometer, Patek Philippe & Co., Genève, no. 868202, ref. 1579, 1951

18k, nickel lever movement, 23 jewels, bi-metallic compensation balance, precision regulator, 8 adjustments, silvered matte dial, applied arabic and square numerals, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 30 minute register, outer ring calibrated for tachometer, circular monogrammed case with faceted down-turned lugs, case, dial and movement signed, with 18k gold Patek Philippe buckle, accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives.

The accompanying extract records the date of manufacture as 1951 and its subsequent sale on July 3rd of the following year.
