Catalogue Note

It has been suggested that the picture probably shows Thomas Waldron of Drumsna, County Leitrim with his wife Elizabeth, daughter of Colonel Thomas Blakeney of Feigh, County Galway. Thomas and Elizabeth Waldron had a son Francis who married Mary, daughter of Hubert Kelly of Charleville, and a daughter who married Thomas Irwin.
