These drawings were executed while the artist was directing and creating the animation for an adaptation of Claudio Monteverdi's opera, Il Ritorno d'Ulisse in Patria, a production that would later travel to Brussels, Vienna, Berlin, Amsterdam, Zürich, Grahamstown, Pretoria and Lisbon.
