31 1/2-cm brass dial with wheatear border, engraved silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals signed Adriaan De Baghyn Amsterdam, later hands, date aperture with foliate engraved surround and subidiary seconds, moonphase in the arch, gilt season spandrels, movement with four ring turned knopped pillars, anchor escapement and trip repeating rack Dutch half hour striking on two bells, alarm removed, possibly associated burr walnut veneered case with moulded top surmounted by a giltwood atlas and two angels, pierced front and side frets, glazed door with threequarter side columns, long break-arch door with carved ornament and well carved lenticle, canted corners with carved ornament below, base with curbed knees raised on claw feet, restorations and imperfections to case
