An organ table clock, attributed to Jacquet Droz, Swiss, circa 1780

27cm dished enamel dial with well pierced gilt hands set on a painted iron surround depicting a galleon near a harbour with fortified entrance, inset  with a music control lever, bell striking movement with rectangular plates No.320 with verge escapement and  silk suspension, the strike work mounted on the backplate, a flirt lever releasing the music every hour, the eighteen pipe organ  with double fusee and chain drive and vertical fly playing one of six airs by means of a 25cm pinned wood barrel, the repainted case with gilt brass urn finial above a concave sided cresting, a baluster frieze with urn corner finial above canted corners applied with trailing leaf sprays, the sides with carrying handles above inspection doors inset with trellis frets, brass-bound glazed doors to the front and back and raised on leaf scroll feet
