  • 10.5cm. 4¼in. square
3-inch brass chapter ring with single hand set on a flower-engraved gilt-copper surround (gilt mostly polished off), the movement with fusee and chain for the going train with verge and altered balance wheel with later spring and regulator, the strike with flower-engraved standing barrel and pierced and engraved locking gate, the backplate with outside numbered countwheel, pierced and engraved set-up ratchet with blued steel spring and similar repaired balance cock, the moulded case with stylised leaf border, shaped glazed panels to the sides, the bell mounted in the folding base and raised on turned feet
