with multigroove rifled barrel-group sliding on a horizonal ratchet and fitted with pivoted loading-bar, self-cocking action signed 'Jarre SGDG' in small letters stamped on the right-hand side, ebony grips, and original clearing-rod; and a French six-shot pinfire pocket revolver, St. Etienne proof, circa 1860-70, with take-down barrel inscribed by the retailer 'P. Boitard, Fi.d' Armes Bte. St. Etienne', double-action frame with loading-gate and folding trigger, clearing rod, ebony grips carved in relief, and retaining almost all of its original nickel-plated finish (2)
