Description
with 17th Century partisan blade engraved with trophies and coats-of-arms over the lower portion (rubbed), and struck with a mark, down-curved brass cross-piece decorated with foliage centring on a shield, three-stage iron grip damascened with pseudo-classical motifs in silver, arched brass pommel set with a profile classical portrait on one side; a rondel dagger in late 15th century style, 19th century, with tapering blade of cruciform section, steel hilt formed of a pierced disk top and bottom, the former set with a pierced copper disk, and tapering grip, in its original scabbard with steel mounts; a left-hand dagger in Spanish 17th century style, 19th century, with hollow-ground triangular blade from a 17th Century gunner's stiletto, steel hilt including moulded quillons and sheet steel guard
