Description
each with swamped octagonal sighted fine etched twist barrel with multi-groove rifled bore and inlaid with a gold line at the base, engraved case-hardened breech and breech tang, the latter with adjustable back-sight, signed case-hardened lock engraved en suite, figured walnut half-stock with carved fore-end and carved fluted butt, engraved case-hardened trigger-guard and butt-cap decorated en suite, set trigger, and much original finish: in their fitted case, probably the original, veneered in limewood, the lid inlaid with the owner's large pierced and engraved monogrammed initials, the interior lined in plum velvet (minor border wear), and retaining almost its full original compliment of accessories including blued sight key
