Alberto Valenzuela Llanos Chilean , 1869-1925

This is an early work by the artist who was born at San Fernando, Chile and studied at the Escuela de Bellas Artes, Santiago from 1887. in 1901 the Chilean government paid for him to continue his studies in Europe and he exhibited at the Paris Salon. He returned to Chile but made four journeys to Europe between 1901 and 1906. In 1910 he won the Gold Medal at the Exposicion del Centenario de Buenos Aires
