Eusebius Horton of Catton Hall, Croxall, Derbyshire, Lord of the Manor of Barton under Needwood, was born on 13 October 1747, son of Christopher Horton. He married Phoebe Davenport in 1778 and died on 18 April 1823 being buried in the local church of St John the Baptist.
