  • sheet 257 by 331 mm. 10 1/8 by 13 in.
Softground etching printed in brown, c. 1880, the second state (of three), initialed in pencil, on wove paper, with large margins (trimmed slightly at bottom), in good condition apart from minor light- and mat stain, three pale water stains in the left margin (one just touching the image), reinforced skinned spots and traces of glue in the upper margin, verso (showing through slightly at the upper edge)
