Nureyev's fine blue velvet doublet for his celebrated role as Prince Florimund in 'The Sleeping Beauty', Act II, 1972

edged with blonde fur and trimmed with gold lace in Hussar style, side fastening with filigree buttons,  the cuffs faced with blue satin and similarly trimmed, together with photographs and xeroxes of Nureyev wearing an identical doublet, (qty)

Design by Georiadis for the 1966 production. This costume was used for the restaging of Nureyev's production with The National Ballet of Canada in 1972.
