  • oil on canvas, in a Louis XV carved and gilt wood frame (reduced in height) probably datable to the 1720's or 30's

Provenance

Rokeby Hall, Yorkshire, hanging in the Crimson Drawing Room by 1769 (see Literature) when the house was sold by Sir Thomas Robinson (c. 1702-1777) to John Sawrey Morritt (1738-1791);
Thence by descent.
