This picture appears to be unrecorded. The inscription on the reverse is autograph, and similar inscriptions are often found on the reverse of Saftleven's paintings at this date. Duits gesight means "German view"; this is one of many such Rhenish and Mosan capricci painted by Saftleven that were inspired by his journey up the Rhine in the early 1650s.
