A smaller version, also signed and dated 1702, with the composition cut off to the left and the figures enlarged in proportion to the architecture and more tightly grouped, is in Biberach an der Riß, Städtische Sammlungen (see Königfeld under Literature, p. 279, no. A10, reproduced in colour fig. 5).  The subject is taken from Virgil's Aeneid, I, 586ff.
