a photographic work of the utmost rarity, unrecorded in the major british libraries.

Napper was an Englishman and member of the Amateur Photographic Association, exhibiting in 1860 and 1864. His only work recorded in British libraries is Views in Wales. The Vale of Neath [1864], which we can trace to just 2 libraries - The British Library and Cambridge University.

The photographs in this collection measure on average 200 by 260mm. and depict the Moorish architecture, general views, peasants, etc. of the area.
