18k, fine nickel lever movement, bi-metallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two gongs, gold hinged cuvette, white enamel dial with Breguet numerals, four subsidiary sunk dials indicating day of the week at 9, 30 minutes register combined with month and leap year cycle at 12, date of the month at 3 and constant seconds combined with moon phases at 6, outer ring divided in 1/5 second with Arabic numeral, blued steel Breguet and baton hands, plain polished circular case, repeating slide and chronograph push button in the band, case, cuvette, and movement all signed and numbered 16795, dial further signed

Catalogue Note

Since 1846, Ulysse Nardin began to produce fine and complicated watches and marine-chronometers. The present pocket chronometer being offered at auction totally incorporated with 7 complications (including day, date, month, moon phases, leap year cycle, chronograph and minute repeater), it is one of the most complicated pocket chronometers produced by Ulysse Nardin in the early 20th century.
