Wagenaar Amsterdam, pierced steel hands, brass alarm disc, apertures for day, date and month, painted spandrels below of Minerva and a goddess, movement with anchor escapement, rack Dutch quarter striking on two bells, alarm removed, painted landscape below of a mansion with a garden and fields, automaton of a swing with soldiers behind a fence, a swinging angel, nodding cows and a fisherman connected to the going train, the windmill connected to the striking train, functioning painted moonphase in the sky, burr walnut veneered case surmounted by a well carved giltwood atlas and two angels, the shaped hood with an ogee moulding and carved cresting with trailing flowers, foliate pierced wood frets, arched glazed door with threequarter columns, shaped door with a foliate carved ornament and brass urn lenticle, canted corners adourned with carved flowers, bombé base raised on claw feet
