3¼-inch enamel dial signed à Paris, bell striking silk suspension movement with narrow anchor escapement and circular flat bottomed plates, the case in the form of a wine cask carried by the young figure of Bacchus with grapes, a jug and a goblet to the side, the shaped rectangular base applied with a mount of a ram within a fruiting vine and on the angled corners with trophies formed from agricultural implements, raised on milled toupie feet; with a velvet covered giltwood base and a glazed cover
