Description
with broad double-edged blade cut with a short narrow fuller on each face, struck with a mark on one side, a patriarchal cross and two dots, on one side, iron hilt comprising straight quillons of rectangular section changing to rounded section towards the down-turned mushroom-shaped terminals (altered, a pair of langets removed), strongly formed wheel pommel, and later leather-covered two-stage grip in 'aged' condition
