Catalogue Note

Possibly a late work by Rusiñol, Almendros en flor shares many similarities with the artist's work (see lots 230 & 232), notably in the use of perspective and the placement of the horizon line. Sr. Laplana, however, cannot confirm the attribution of the present work to Rusiñol's hand on the basis that there is no supporting photographic evidence existing in the artist's archive.
