Condition
The canvas has been relined. There is some scattered retouching, mainly to the sky, partially obscured under a varnish. This work is in good overall condition, with only some pinhead-sized flecks of paint loss above the horse to the left of the composition. Held in a decorative, burnished gold-painted, moulded plaster and wood frame.
