As market leaders in the field, Sotheby’s sales of Modern and Contemporary African Art champion the work of artists from across the African continent, and our upcoming auction includes a specially curated collection of paintings, photographs, drawings and sculpture from the 20th and 21st centuries.
Since debuting in 2016, Sotheby’s Modern and Contemporary African Art sales have broken over 70 artists’ records and have attracted 472 bidders from 52 different countries across 6 continents.
