The selling exhibition features rare and precious works of Yau Leung and Lee Ka-sing, two outstanding Hong Kong photographers from two different generations. Works include rare black-and-white photographs taken in the 1960s, printed and signed by the late Yau Leung; as well as Lee Ka-sing’s colour photographs of Hong Kong cityscape from the recent years. Yau Leung is the most prominent documentary photographer in Hong Kong’s recent history, his works constitute a stark contrast to the urban images captured through Lee’s acute lenses.
