Weathervanes, Bird Decoys, The Declaration of Independence and More Americana on View

Sotheby’s is delighted to offer the remarkable American folk art collection of David Teiger. In addition to Teiger’s great interest in contemporary art, he was a passionate collector of sculptural American folk art. Teiger’s folk art collection includes many exemplary examples of American weathervanes, including a Goddess of Liberty, a stag, and a leaping horse. He also collected remarkable ship figureheads, trade figures, and exquisite bird decoys.
