Sotheby’s London’s biannual Important Picasso Ceramics Online auctions feature some of Picasso’s most recognisable, fantastical and remarkable creations. The next auction will take place from the 19-28 September and features property from the Nina Miller Collection.
The sale presents over 150 ceramics with low estimates ranging from £800 to £80,000. Highlights from the Nina Miller collection include Picasso’s playful, oversized Gros Oiseau Picasso (est. £80,000-120,000) and his unique tile Caractère (est. £20,000-30,000). The various owner section of the sale is led by the mythological dragon-like figure of the Tarasque (est. £25,000-35,000) and a seemingly mischievous silver impression of his Visage aux mains (est. £25,000-35,000).
These ceramics will be available to view in our New Bond Street galleries alongside our 26 September Prints & Multiples auction from 22–25 September.
