This October, Bordeaux takes centre stage in our sale of Finest and Rarest wines, with offerings spanning the last four decades. Highlights include Margaux 1982, Mouton 1986, Lafite 1990, Latour 1996, along with seven vintages of Le Pin. DRC, Jean Grivot and Méo-Camuzet are among those representing Burgundy while gems from Chave, Paul Avril and Château de Beaucastel are included in the Rhône section. Shafer, Ridge and Harlan Estate lead examples from California.
The sale also boasts a 10-case collection of all bottle sizes of Château Pichon Longueville Baron in the outstanding 2010 vintage. This spectacular lot features every format from half-bottles to the 18-litre Melchior, sourced from leading Bordeaux négoçiant, Mestrezat Grands Crus.
And finally, a superb selection from the family estate of Lord Durham, featuring all the First Growths as well as other Claret, completes this perfectly balanced array of fine and rare wines.
