Liu Hankun (1912-1958) was the eldest son of Liu Guojun (1887-1978), a prominent figure in China’s modern textile industry who had a deep appreciation for Chinese paintings and calligraphy. His collection, known as "Jing Xiu Tang" included exquisite works by renowned artists throughout history. Influenced by his father, Liu Hankun also developed a passion for traditional culture. This collection consists of Liu Hankun's acquisitions over the years, spanning from the Ming and Qing dynasties to modern times. For over sixty years since the passing of Liu Hankun, this collection has been cherished by the Liu family and it is now being publicly displayed for the first time. The proceeds from this auction will be dedicated entirely to charitable purposes. 劉漢堃（1912-1958），近代紡織業鉅子劉國鈞長子。劉國鈞（1887-1978），江蘇靖江人，經營紡織業，踞行業龍頭，四九年後任全國人大代表，江蘇省副省長等要職。嗜書畫，其「敬修堂」富藏曆代名家精品。劉漢堃長年主理家族業務，四十年代末來港成立東南紡織有限公司，獲推為香港紡織同業公會副會長。他師從錢名山學習傳統文化，並受父薰陶，雅好書畫。本輯乃劉漢堃歷年所得，自明清至近代，其身後，藏品由家人秘藏逾一甲子，今首度公開。此次拍賣所得款項，將全數撥充慈善用途。
