L'Exceptionnelle Vendange des Sept Domaines: The exceptional harvest of the 7 Domaines created a magnificent bottle of extraordinary rarity. This Montrachet 2016 is a contemporary tale of solidarity and friendship between 7 Burgundian owners, who were the victims of the frost of April 27, 2016. Eventually, the decision was made amongst these 7 producers to pool the tiny quantity of grapes that had survived and combine them into one blend. The resulting 2 barrels (one new, the other a year old) were then aged for 18 months at Domaine Leflaive. The total yield was 600 bottles, a part of which has been kept back by the individual Domaines.
