N ew York-based luxury design label Mansur Gavriel has partnered with Hauser & Wirth Gallery to launch a limited-edition capsule collection for Fall Winter 2019 that will capture the hearts of art lovers. Developed in close collaboration with the Calder Foundation, the collection includes four of Mansur Gavriel’s classic handbag styles, each featuring a print of one of four iconic Alexander Calder works.
Designers Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel, who founded the label in 2012, have incorporated their love of art into a series of artist collaborations. Their latest collection brings four playful Calder artworks to classic Mansur Gavriel silhouettes: The Mini Bucket Bag, the Circle Crossbody Bag, the Large Tote and the Attaché.
