Gucci Kicks Off Three-Year Chatsworth Partnership With Fashion Shoot

Gucci is celebrating all things quintessentially British with a new advertising campaign shot at Chatsworth, the home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire.

The Gucci Cruise 2017 campaign is part of a three-year partnership between the fashion brand and Chatsworth that will support cultural activities on the estate.

Shot by photographer Glen Luchford, the campaign features acclaimed British actress Vanessa Redgrave alongside a group of grungy young characters in the grounds and interior of Chatsworth.

Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele cites British culture as a source of constant inspiration and the campaign paints an eclectic portrait of the British spirit, from late '70s punk youth subculture to beautiful landscape gardens. His new collection is a “a love letter to England”. Joe McKenna, fashion director-at-large at The New York Times’ T Magazine, styled the campaign.

Beyond Limits, an exhibition of monumental outdoor sculpture, is open at Chatsworth until 30 October.
