An Evening Celebrating Bourgeois and Kusama

Guests piled into London’s S|2 gallery this week for a selling exhibition of Louise Bourgeois and Yayoi Kusama featuring a curated selection of sculpture, paintings, and works on paper. The works on view explore the intense psychological states of the artists’ parallel careers and the exhibition looks at how the artists radically challenged patriarchal conventions of art making during the later 20th century.
