Sophie Stevens

Sophie Stevens joined Sotheby’s as Jewellery Specialist for MENA in 2019, having consulted for the company in Dubai since 2016. She travels throughout the region advising clients on buying and selling jewellery through Sotheby’s international auctions and private sales, and participates in the department’s regional exhibitions and educational events. Prior to these roles, Sophie was a Jewellery Specialist with another international auction house in London, and had previously worked in the antique jewellery and gemstone trade. A certified gemologist and diamond grader with the Gemological Association of Great Britain, she graduated in Theology & Religious Studies from the University of Bristol before completing her Master’s in Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 2019. She frequently writes for press in the Middle East, and is a regular watches and jewellery contributor for Harper’s Bazaar Arabia.
