Scott Milleisen is the Global Head of Lending for Sotheby’s Financial Services. He leads a dedicated team of lending specialists who finance fine art and luxury goods for collectors, families, galleries, and dealers. Scott has extensive experience with the world’s largest private art collectors, offering them advice and capital solutions for more than two decades.

Prior to joining Sotheby’s in November 2021, Scott was the U.S. Head of Lending Solutions at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, which he helped establish as one of the preeminent wealth management lenders in the U.S. Over the course of his 24-year career, he partnered with clients to finance their passion investments including fine art, professional sports teams and philanthropy.

Scott previously served as Head of the Sports Finance group at J.P. Morgan, and is widely recognized as a consummate dealmaker amongst owners of major league teams. In 2015 he was inducted into SportsBusiness Journal’s “40 Under Forty” hall of fame.

Scott graduated cum laude with honors from Hamilton College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He was a decorated student athlete at Hamilton, leading the Continentals’ football team to three consecutive winning seasons and twice earning All-NESCAC honors; he remains the college’s all-time leader in rushing yards. Scott currently lives in Montclair, NJ (USA) with his wife Amanda and their three sons.
