Biography

Sarah Soulen has worked in a myriad of departments throughout her nine-year tenure at Sotheby’s. After a brief stint in the Modern Art department in 2015, Sarah joined the Watches and Clocks department, where she managed large international watch collections sold globally in New York, London, Geneva, and Hong Kong.

As an Account Manager in Collection Sale Management, Sarah has had the opportunity to work with both private and corporate clients across a wide array of categories to bring major art collections to sale. In 2021, she oversaw the exhibition and sale of a group of Picassos from the famous Las Vegas Bellagio’s corporate collection, a ground-breaking sale where Sotheby’s auction room was recreated within the famous casino’s ballrooms. Since then, she has had the privilege of overseeing the sales of major private collections, ranging from the Abstract Expressionist and Modern masterworks on paper from the Marcia and Stanley Gumberg collection, to the Wolf Family Collection: the largest collection of American fine and decorative art to come to auction. Most recently she managed the sale of Chara Schreyer’s expansive and impressive Contemporary art collection.
