Regine Ngan joins Sotheby’s as Head of Jewelry Department, Asia in 2021.
Prior to Sotheby’s, Ms. Ngan has had over 16 years of experience in the jewelry industry. Her skills encompass auction, selling, appraising, sourcing, operations, management, retail, marketing and events.
Ms. Ngan graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree but her passion for fine objects came through colored diamonds which ignited her passion for this fascinating industry. Her determination led her to further her studies at the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, USA. Upon returning to Hong Kong in 2007 she began her career at Christie’s as a Junior Specialist.
In late 2012 she was appointed as Director of a Swiss based jewelry brand where she established the business from conception to a fully fledged flagship store in Prince’s building Landmark, seizing the Asia market share.
Ms. Ngan also holds a post graduate degree in Master of Business Administration, a diploma in Graduate Gemmology and an executive certificate in Strategy.
