Nicola Gräfin Keglevich, Director, Head of Munich Office, graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Art History from the University of Munich after studying one year at the University of Florence, Italy.
Before joining Sotheby’s in 2007, she worked for Gurr Johns an international Art Advisory and Art Valuations company.
Nicola Keglevich has over 10 years experience working for Sotheby’s. She started as a part-time assistant to Heinrich Graf von Spreti, President of Sotheby’s Germany, while, at the same time, working to create an extensive inventory of a private South German art collection comprising several thousand art works of all different kinds and periods. Since 2010, Nicola Keglevich has worked full-time at Sotheby’s and works closely with collectors of Impressionist, Modern and Contemporary art residing in South Germany. She was named Deputy Director in 2012, and was appointed Director and Head of Sotheby’s Munich in 2016. Nicola Keglevich additionally holds guided tours of different art fairs for young collectors to strengthen their knowledge in understanding and collecting art.
As the Head of Sotheby’s Munich office, Nicola Keglevich is responsible for client liaison in southern Germany.
