Lorenzo Brunetti is an Associate Specialist in the Contemporary Art department at Sotheby's. He previously spent two years in the Impressionist & Modern Art department as Associate Specialist and Co-Head of Modern Discoveries, where he was involved in private sales and public auctions including Pauline Karpidas: The London Collection and Masterpieces from the Lewis Collection — the two most valuable single-owner collections ever sold at auction in London.
Lorenzo holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management of Art from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, and two Master's degrees in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, with theses on Alighiero Boetti and on Moretto da Brescia. In 2024, he contributed to the publication of Alighiero Boetti: Insicuro Noncurante e Il Manuale di Conoscenza, edited by Agata Boetti.
