Kunter Kula

Kunter Kula is Vice President, Sotheby’s Collectors Group and partners with new and established private clients to provide holistic guidance on acquisition, ongoing collection management and disposition of their collections. He joined Sotheby’s in 2018 in the Valuations Department leading the Contemporary Art and 20th Century design-focused team and has driven important consignments to Sotheby’s as a business getter. Prior to joining Sotheby’s, he was the collection manager for a prominent Swiss collector and a sales associate at Sperone Westwater Gallery.

Kunter presents the full array of Sotheby’s expertise and network including cross-category buying, selling, valuations and financial services to clients who are seeking next steps on their collection journey. Born in Istanbul, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Art History from Hamilton College and has successfully completed the coursework on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
