Isobel Gooder

Isobel Gooder is Director, Head of Contemporary Art Day Auctions, and Specialist in the Contemporary Art Department at Sotheby's Paris.

After spending three years as researcher for the Chairman of Modern and Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s Milan, she joined the Contemporary Art Department at Sotheby’s Paris in 2021 to run the Contemporary Curated sale. She has run the Contemporary Art Day auctions in Paris since 2023.

Before joining Sotheby’s, Isobel worked at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice and Galleria Massimo De Carlo in Milan. Isobel holds a degree in French and Italian language and culture from the University of Cambridge, UK.
