Biography
Emilie Salmon joined Galerie Monbrison in 2009, where she spent 16 years and became director.
With a master’s degree in art history and a professional master's degree in the art market, she began her career with expert and dealer Jean-Claude Bellier in 2005, where she discovered African art. In 2008, she made the transition to the world of photography at Galerie Baudoin Lebon.
A member of the Compagnie Nationale des Experts since 2020, she has worked as an independent expert at the Hôtel Drouot and in the regions. In 2022, she joined forces with Alain de Monbrison to co-found Cabinet Monbrison – Salmon, where she will participate in public sales.
