Biography
Benjamin Meyer joined Sotheby’s in 2020, as part of the Fiduciary Client Group in London; covering Financial Institutions and Private Clients. In September 2023, he moved to Paris to further develop the French intermediaries and advisors as well as looking after mainly important European clients. In his latest role, he collaborates with Chairmen and Heads of Departments to develop strategies for engaging with clients and Fiduciary contacts. Benjamin started the Sotheby’s 1744 Circle, a by-invitation-only group that counts forty important international collectors and curators under fifty.
In addition to occasionally serving as an Auctioneer for Sotheby’s in London, Benjamin volunteers at charity auctions and regularly serves as auctioneer for benefits.
Prior to joining Sotheby’s, Benjamin worked in Finance for 15 years in Asset Management and Private Banking. He graduated from the University of Chicago and obtained his MBA from INSEAD.
