Lucy joined Sotheby’s in 2015 after completing her Bachelor’s degree in history at Boston University and conservation pre-program training at the Morgan Library and the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Throughout her time at BU, Lucy worked extensively with the collections at the Howard Gotleib Archival Research Center and other Boston institutions such as the Boston Athenaeum and the Museum of African American History.  

Lucy has been involved in over 20 sales throughout her career at Sotheby’s, including the Book Department’s inaugural participation in Americana Week 2017 with the sale of Alexander Hamilton: An Important Family Archive, which realized $2,645,750 and the company’s first sale of space memorabilia since 1996, highlighted by the Flown Apollo 11 Lunar Sample return bag, which achieved $1,812,500.
