Amy MacKinnon is Assistant Vice President, Senior Account Manager in the Valuations department at Sotheby’s. She works with collectors and fiduciaries, managing complex valuations for the purposes of sale, estate planning, charitable contribution, collateral loan, government indemnity, and insurance.
Prior to joining Sotheby’s in 2019, Amy was the Associate Director at Articheck, an art technology startup specializing in digital condition reports. She also has experience working in commercial galleries as a sales assistant at Stephen Friedman Gallery and Blain|Southern in London.
Amy holds a Master of Arts degree in Contemporary Art from the Sotheby’s Institute, London and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Studio Art from Pomona College, California. She is compliant in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
