Sotheby’s has been a strong presence in Zurich since 1969 and was the first regional office to open in Europe. Today we are located in the Talstrasse 83, in the city center and financial heart of the city. We are delighted to advise you across all collecting categories, particularly by our Zurich-based specialists for Swiss Art and Modern & Contemporary Art. We provide complimentary inventories and valuations, for the purposes of selling, insurance, estate, tax or collection management. We are delighted to advise you on buying and selling at Sotheby’s, whether at auction or privately, and at one of our international or local auctions.

We regularly hold auctions for Swiss Art and Modern & Contemporary Art in our Zurich office. Twice a year – in June and December – we offer works from Swiss and international artists of the 19th, 20th and 21st century. Should you have any questions regarding potential consignments or works in our the auction, please do not hesitate to get in touch. The pre-sale exhibition is free to the public and can be visited without an appointment. In addition, we exhibit highlights from our international auctions taking place in London, New York and Paris throughout the year.

We regularly hold Valuation days with international specialists for Jewelry, Watches, Handbags, Prints, Photographs, Wine, Furniture, Asian Art & Objects among others. Our in-house specialists use their unrivalled experience and expertise to create valuations free of charge.
