otheby’s Wine will close its summer season in Hong Kong on Tuesday 30 July, with an extraordinary Single Owner auction sourced from one of the greatest private collections of DRC and Burgundy in the world: Romanée-Conti: The Masterpiece Collection I A Grand European Cellar.
Offered from one of Europe’s most celebrated cellars, assembled by a renowned connoisseur with close and longstanding relationships with the Domaine itself, this immense sale stands comfortably amongst the finest and most comprehensive collections of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti that have been offered worldwide in recent years.
Particularly special here is the incredible depth of DRC stock offered through vintages spanning from 2005 (at the youngest!) back to the 1960s, across an astonishing breadth of rare large formats and bottles of Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, Richebourg, Romanée-St-Vivant, Grands Échezeaux and Échezeaux. The wines being offered from this revered European cellar were, in the vast majority of cases, purchased on release directly from the Domaine’s agents and representatives in Switzerland and London, with a handful having been purchased only from the most reputable Sotheby’s Single Owner auctions of the 1990s and 2000s. All the bottles have been meticulously cared for since purchase, having lain unmoved in perfect, professional storage in Geneva.
Beyond the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti treasures offered here, it is evident that this connoisseur has been a longstanding and passionate supporter of Burgundy as a whole, with an exceptional array of beautiful lots from Rousseau, de Vogüé, Leflaive, Drouhin, Faiveley, and extensive superb cuvées from the Hospices de Beaune, all to be offered following an astounding 218 lots from DRC.

拍品源自歐洲一個著名私人窖藏，乃一位葡萄酒鑑藏家憑藉與Romanée-Conti酒莊建立多年的深厚情誼，精心蒐集的成果。本場拍賣星光熠熠，雲集近年市面上最優越和最齊全的Romanée-Conti酒莊佳作。
本場拍品深度尤其矚目，涵蓋自1960年代跨越至2005年的Domaine de la Romanée-Conti珍釀，包括標準裝以至罕見大瓶裝的Romanée-Conti、La Tâche、Richebourg、Romanée-St-Vivant、Grands Échezeaux及Échezeaux。藏主愛酒識酒，本場絕大部分拍品都由藏主親自搜羅，直接從酒莊經銷商及瑞士和倫敦的代理商購藏，亦有少量酒品是藏主在1990年代至2000年代從蘇富比的單一藏家拍賣專場入手。所有酒品在購入後隨即送往日內瓦，並存放於恆溫恆濕的專業酒窖中，確保佳釀狀態絕佳。
除Domaine de la Romanée-Conti佳醇外，藏主也一直熱衷收藏其他布艮地美酒。因此，本場帶來218項DRC羅曼尼康帝之後，尚有一系列來自Rousseau、de Vogüé、Leflaive、Drouhin、Faiveley，以及伯恩濟貧院的布艮地出品。
