his November, Sotheby’s Hong Kong presents Finest & Rarest Wines | Featuring LIMITLESS Part IV. Bringing together Burgundy’s leading
domaines and the benchmark names of Bordeaux, the sale reflects a focused and authoritative selection of the world’s most coveted wines.
Among the Burgundy highlights are 1990 Romanée-Conti, 1990 Richebourg, an exceptional 1990 Clos St. Denis Vieilles Vignes from Domaine Ponsot, a distinguished 90s – 00s collection from Domaine Leroy, the rare whites and reds of Domaine d’Auvenay, and a 1999 Henri Jayer Cros Parantoux.
The second half of the sale continues LIMITLESS | The Colossal Cellar of an Astute Collector, a single-owner collection assembled over decades. While the blue-chip bottles previously showcased in this series are not included in this instalment, this chapter highlights producers that have gained notable traction among today’s collectors, such as Hubert Lamy, Emmanuel Rouget, Pierre Morey, and Francois Lamarche. Together with mature Bordeaux from respected estates, this chapter deepens and broadens the scope of the LIMITLESS series.
Bordeaux is represented by 1990 Petrus, 1982 Château Lafleur and 2005 Le Pin, complemented by First Growth verticals and pristine vintages of Château d’Yquem. The online sale opens on 14 November at 11:00 AM and closes on 28 November at 11:00 AM HKT.
